Implementation and support continues 

The health and physical education learning area is being refreshed as part of the wider changes to The New Zealand Curriculum (NZC). We’re engaging widely with the education sector to develop a final draft of this learning area. There may be some final adjustments before the fully refreshed NZC must be implemented from the beginning of 2027
